Happy T Day

That's it! Just one more term to go and then 2006's gone, and it's time for a REAL LONG BREAK. One month of pure bliss in NY I hope. Do nothing but visit frens & relative, watch musicals, eat jumbo burgers, window shop and speak slangy ang moh. Yippee, can't wait for nov/dec to come. Battery in dire need of recharge.

Dad's away in Thailand - hope thaksin's pseudo/real assasinator(s)' taking a break these few days. Big marly's flown to Big Apple for study. MLL's flying to Japan tonight to visit her beloved on attachment. Fish's still in Germany bonding with her green fishes. And I'd be leaving for aust in <48hrs time for the study trip. Hmmm... and which alphabet of the 'globalized' word do you not understand? Wright Brothers, u'd have been zillionaires if u are alive now, and had known a word called 'patent' earlier.

Earlier this morning, despite the persistent rain-turned-drizzle, a new s'pore record's set. Check out the straits time tomorrow, shd see some thousands of white-blue-clad Homo sapiens stretching their rickety joints and thrusting palms into the air, balancing ostrich-like on single leg. Today's also the eve of Nurturers' Day. It's really incomprehensible how one can just forgive the kiddos for all the agony (heartache & headache) they've caused for full 9mths with just one simple but sincere expression of appreciation & love. When those cheeky noisy souls become all prim & proper and shyly shove that box of homemade cookies/stalk of rose/piece of card/big giant cotton flower/milo + biscuits combo into ur hands, muttering 'Thank you for everything'. I tell you, they can aggravate me ten more times and I'd still be grinning madly away... Guess silly souls like me are born to 'eat this line of rice'.
