My horoscope today says - 'It's a good time to check in with people whom you may not have daily contact with. You may need to build/re-build bridges so as to maintain a friendly office/social camaraderie.'
Don't know about you, but sometimes (and increasingly so??), I will get hit by a kinda super anti-social, rebellious, 'hermit-crab' mentality, when all I wanna do is to snug into my own shell and be oblivious to everyone and everything around. Why make the extra effort to reach out when people may mistaken you for having hidden agendas / not reciprocate in kind / persist with their pre-conceived notions etc etc?
Give life, not death. It's about how long one can continue to give life when continually bombarded with negatives.
A recent Sunday Times article had a line - 'You will not be happy if you do not know who you are, for you will just be what others think you are.' Pathetic state to be in. But sometimes, even if you know who you are and set out to be who you are, it won't necessarily bring you happiness. Just be thankful it doesn't bring you more misery.

I agree. Am in the state where i chose how i want to behave but end up quite miserable. am i wrong to do that? at least i am 'happily miserable' than being a hypocrite. but do i know what i want to be or who i am? nope. im still a lost soul searching for something... and i dunno what that 'something' is.

well... 'hypocrite' will have to be the last word anyone will use on you. you've always come across (at least to me) as the 'all-natural, take it-or-leave it sort'.
actually, i think no one can say they really, exactly know what they want to be/who they are/where they are going or want to go.. so don't be too hard on yourself eh. There will be something for everyone (or so i'd like to believe). Meantime, i guess, just build bridges when you feel like, and leave them when you don't.

it's precisely my 'take-it-or-leave-it' attitude resulted in me being much alone in my company. like i say, its ok, i would rather not speak if words from my mouth are laced with hypocracy. hehhee
sure durian! maybe we can feed it to wolf's kiddo eh??? hehehe. must try to meet up soon before you don't even remember who i am!

and yep, as long as my trusty hp-cum-camera is with me and inspiration strikes, i'd take the artsy pics & post 'em up. U take care meantime eh, and get in touch with wolf & elf sometimes k. They are amongst those ppl who accept ya (and me) for who we are. =)
