Now that I'm out of school, I realise that I only have a better sense of how fast time is passing by when I hear teacher-friends announce the commencement of their term breaks. 10 weeks between each break - a simple way of tracking the year's passage. For the rest of us in office/other non-school environments, sometimes, every other day seems to feel like just another day in the calendar. We just don't share that same sense of anticipation. Not that I'm complaining though - I guess we can always look forward to our own planned leave.
With the 4 confirmed H1N1 cases in Spore all tracked down to the States as the source, it looks like my Aug work trip is unlikely to come through. This time round, the bug looks to be a pervasive but less-fatalistic one.. I shudder to think about the next bug in line.
