Ok, after 2.5wks of trying to kid myself, I am going to change tack. Like it or not, I am going to have to change my mindset with regard to the new work environment and expectations. Don't think I can continue to bluff myself and hope to lie low and avoid arrows anymore. The things just keep coming... so I am changing my mentality... will tell myself that I am at new place to 'eat bitter' (and hopefully become stronger), so that any other small or big piece of pebble that comes flying in my direction, I will be able to take it with more positivity than currently. To a new beginning, from 21 Jan 2009 onwards.
Meantime, will continue with things that keep me sane. And this includes attending bbq gathering organized by my first batch of kiddos (they are now *holy cow* all of 23 yrs old!). Lucky I didn't look too old amongst them. =)
CNY's coming in 5 days time. A period of bonding and merry-making with family and friends. May the Year of the Ox bring with it good health, smooth luck and inner peace for everyone.
