Anyways, today me and fish went to Times Square (my 2nd time there). What a happening place, bursting with raw energy. Huge musical billboards and adverts of flashy products adorn the skyscrapers' facades. Super eye-catching and heartbeat-accelerating. Exciting, but definitely not a residential kinda place.

Then we moved on to Chinatown, Little Italy and Soho. Each with its unique flavor. Chinatown with its bustling, noisy, cantonese energy, with so many yummy eateries of roast meats, dim sum and pastries at every corner and nook. Little Italy, with its quaint little shops draped with national colours of white, green and red, and dancing santas doing the welcoming at entrances. Soho, with its air of cool eclectic chic. Classy boutiques line the sides, occasionally fronted by makeshift stalls manned by street hawkers peddling precious stones-jewellery and ceramic coasters. Nice.

And here's the spread:

braised fish, stir-fry veg, steamed chic (bought from shop), instant miso soup, glutinous rice (from shop), maggi mee
Tomorrow, me and fish will start using the NY pass to visit the touristy places. Till the next update. =)
